Restaurant Review: Nashville’s New Fin & Pearl

Restaurant Review: Nashville’s New Fin & Pearl

The sleek newcomer is exactly what’s needed in downtown Nashville. It is an immediately welcoming little place that offers fresh seafood from Gulf Coast and West Coast waters in a variety of enticing preparations. A large bar dominates the dining room, the furniture is comfortable, everything about this place says vacation at the beach. Here are some of the menu highlights:

Completely satisfied with what we’d already eaten, we skipped the desserts, although I have little doubt they would have been excellent too. Neither meat eaters nor vegetarians should shy away from Fin & Pearl simply because the main focus is on seafood – there are impressive vegetarian options and worthwhile meat dishes for carnivores.  We found plenty to like on the menu and the servers were friendly and very well-informed about the food they’re serving. I’d go back to Fin & Pearl in a heartbeat. It will probably be as close as I’ll come to a beach vacation this year.
