Get Your Tailgate Ready! 15 Artists Reveal the Best BBQ Restaurants in America

Cody Johnson- Southside Market & Barbeque location on Central Avenue in Elgin, Texas. Me and my papaw have been going since I was a little boy and eat sausage called “hot guts”

Will Hoge- Cooper’s in New Braunfels, Texas

Smithfield- Franklin BBQ in Austin, Texas

Delta Rae’s Grant Emerson- Ole Time Barbecue in Raleigh, NC. I’ve been going there since I was 8 years old. I used to play baseball and football with the owner Jerry’s son growing up. It’s a tiny little place and cheap. The wait staff tries to take your order before you have completely sat down in your chair.

Matt Rogers- southern soul on St. Simons Island

Dave Innis of Restless Heart- Masterpiece in Kansas City and Dreamland BBQ in Alabama

Clark Hill- Joe’s BBQ… but seriously. Sonny’s in my home town is literally one of the best BBQ joints.

Jesse Rice- Hands down- Southern Soul BBQ in Saint Simons Island, GA

Caroline Jones- Rendezvous in Memphis, TN

T. Graham Brown- Slim’s Downtown B.B.Q Emporium and Used Car Lot

Logan Mize- BB’s Lawnside BBQ in Kansas City.

Bailey James- My Grandpa’s house in Texas (haha). It’s better than any brisket you could get at a restaurant.

Lucy Angel- Edley’s BBQ in Nashville, TN

Amber DeLaCruz- Callahan BBQ in Callahan, FL

Ryan Follese- That is a tough one. One of my favorites in right in here Tennessee, The Perfect Pig. Another famously amazing one is Dinosaur BBQ in NY

Our Pick? Jim N’ Nick’s in Franklin, TN
