What’s your favorite Christmas memory?
As cheesy as it sounds, the glow of the lights from the Christmas tree always made me feel the warmth of the holiday. Still does. Back home when the snow fell heavily just days before Christmas, brought such anticipation. That’s what I look forward to and what I always remember. That feeling never leaves you.
What’s your idea of a good Christmas dinner?
My idea of a good Christmas dinner is anything that fills your tummy, as long as you’re surrounded by people you love. Anything is delicious when you’re with your people. That and pie. Then add more pie.
Do you have a favorite Christmas album?
Yes! I love Celine Dion’s “These Are The Special Times.” It’s a classic sound with her unreal vocals. My cousin and I used to seriously jam to that album all year round. I’m a real nerd and I’m not afraid to embrace it!
Do you have any favorite traditions or favorite movies for the holiday season?
Home Alone. Hands Down! Also, Christmas Vacation is an all time must.
What has been your favorite album of 2016?
Well, since 2016 isn’t quite over yet, I have to say I’m quickly falling for X Ambassadors but moreover, Chris Stapleton’s “Traveller” has my heart.
What are your hopes for 2017?
My hopes are not to look too far ahead. The more I live, the more I realize I miss by making too many plans. My life is my music and vice versa, so I wouldn’t want to short change either one. I hope to hope for less and do more.
The holiday season brings the best parties and time together with friends and family. What is your signature cocktail recipe that you will be serving?

1 squeeze lime slice
