The title may say impossible, but this quiche recipe is super simple. The cheesy eggs and crumbled bacon make a perfect brunch for a group.
- 4 large eggs
- 2 c. whole milk
- ¾ c. all-purpose flour
- 2½ tbsp. butter
- 3 slice cooked bacon
- 1 small onion
- ½ c. grated mild Cheddar or Swiss cheese
- ½ c. unprocessed bran
- 1 tsp. dried basil
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Grease 9 1/2-inch deep-dish glass or ceramic pie plate.
- In large bowl, with mixer on medium speed, beat eggs, milk, flour, and butter 1 minute or until well blended. Add bacon, onion, Cheddar, bran, basil, salt, and black pepper. Beat 1 minute longer or until well combined. Pour mixture into prepared pie plate.
- Bake 1 hour or until eggs are set and toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Let cool on wire rack 15 minutes before serving.
