Back in 2014, Carrie Underwood shared a photo of herself blackberry picking with the caption “who wants wild blackberries?!”. Well if you answered yes, you can! Thanks to this jam recipe shared by Underwood and her friend Ivy Childers.
- 4 cups freshly picked blackberries
- ½ cup raw sugar
- ½ cup maple syrup
- 4 tbsp. cornstarch
- ½ tsp. ground cinnamon
- ½ tsp. lemon juice
1. Use a large saucepan. In the pan, heat all of the ingredients on medium high heat.
2. Stir occasionally until sugar dissolves and mixture becomes thick (about ten minutes). Remove from heat and cool, then pour into mason jars and store in refrigerator.
