“Anything is Possible” just dropped, tell us a little bit about that song.
Natalia: Alright, “Anything is Possible” is our brand new single from our upcoming album which will be released April 27th. “Anything is Possible” is a just really fun, upbeat, positive song that we just really wanted to release at the top of 2018.
Christina: We just released it a couple days ago actually, hot off the plate, brand new and I love it so far.
Hannah: We just thought what a better message for the new year.
Natalia: We are all human and we all have those days where we just need a pick me up. Everyone needs to know that whatever they put their mind to that they can accomplish it with just a little bit of hard work.
As sisters, what is it like to work together ALL the time?
Christina: You could imagine all the fun! We don’t really fight all that much. If anything, it’s just over clothes.
Natalia: Well we are all kind of the same size basically so we can all fit in each others clothes. So yeah, I would say if we ever fight it is mainly over clothes and food. We love food.
Who do you look up to as artists? Do you share the same “role models” or do you each have different artists you favor?
Christina: Oh it’s actually really funny because the three of us actually have our own senses and different genres that we like.
Hannah: I’m more pop-ish. I like all pop artists. I really like Michael Jackson, he’s great. I also like Selena Gomez and Bruno Mars.
Christina: I’m the drummer, so I’m a little crazy. I like Bryan Adams, The Foo Fighters, ACDC. It just goes back to the classics, right?
Natalia: I kind of bring the country twist to the whole thing. I love Vince Gill. I grew up listening to all of his records. I love Keith Urban and I even have a little bit of influence from Prince. He kind of gets in there somewhere but I love him.
How would you describe your music to someone who has never heard it before?
Natalia: We kind of came up with our own thing.
Christina: To determine each of our individual genres, we actually put it all together in the music we make and it’s called CPR. Its country, pop, and rock.
Natalia: Especially if you come to our live shows, there’s a lot of energy and a lot of fun. We always throw in a classic rock song every now and then. We do a lot of country and then some originals.
What is on the horizon for 2018?
Hannah: Yes! There’s a lot of traveling. We hope to do a whole tour through America.
Natalia: We actually have a whole tour set up through America for radio for our new single “Anything is Possible”. So, the ultimate goal is to just push this new single and the new and upcoming album.
Now for some food questions…
Being from the south, I’m sure you know good food. What is your favorite southern dish?
Christina: You can’t go wrong with a good southern pork belly roast, you know what I mean? It’s so good.
Hannah: And have your sweet tea, fried chicken, mashed potatoes.
Natalia: I’ve always loved the fried chicken and waffles and the blueberry cobbler.
Tell us your guilty junk food pleasures.
Natalia: As a family who is on the road all the time, we are actually big healthy eaters. But of course we are girls so we do have our moments where we just have to dive into chocolate. So I’m a sucker for Russell Stover chocolate. All the time. If I see a box, I have to eat it. It doesn’t matter how healthy I’m trying to be.
Christina: See I had my cheat day yesterday and I had a chocolate pie from The Chef and I over here in Nashville. It was so cool. The coolest restaurant ever and we just visited it yesterday!
@officialsouthernhalo: Life is “sweeter” with sisters 😜
Favorite Nashville restaurant?
All: The Chef and I. Oh yes! By far!
What do you think the most important meal of the day is and why?
Christina: I say lunch! Wouldn’t you guys agree? Because it’s mid-day, you know?
Hannah: It keeps your energy flowing. Well, dinner as well because you are about to crash.
Natalia: Like I said, we are big foodies. So I think dinner is the most important because we like to sit down and have a good meal and be like, “what all did we accomplish today?” And then you get to feel accomplished and eat at the same time.
Finally for Battered and Brewed, if you could have a meal with one person, dead or alive, who would it be and what would you have?
Hannah: I would have to say macaroni and cheese, with probably Matthew McConaughey.
Christina: I think I would share this big 50-ounce steak with Bryan Adams. We would just eat the same steak together. It would be great.
Natalia: I would probably share some Memphis style BBQ with Justin Timberlake.
