Betty’s Peach Cobbler

Betty’s Peach Cobbler

Ingredients:

1 cup dark brown sugar, divided
2 cups peeled, pitted, sliced fresh peaches
½ cup butter
1 cup self-rising flour
1 cup milk

In a medium-sized bowl, stir ¼ cup dark brown sugar into sliced peaches. Set aside. Slice butter into an 8-inch by 11-inch or 9-inch by 12-inch baking dish. Place in oven and set oven to 350 degrees (F). While butter is melting, whisk together flour, milk, and the remaining dark brown sugar (¾ cup). When butter is melted, remove the hot, buttery baking dish from the oven and pour the whisked batter over the top of the melted butter. Sprinkle sugared peaches over the top of the batter. Bake at 350 degrees (F) for about 25 to 30 minutes, or until the batter has risen around the peaches, the top is light brown, and the sides are darker brown. Remove from oven and serve while hot. I hope you love this super easy, and fantastic peach cobbler! –Betty ♥
